Welcome to Dandelion Road!

Hope you'll share this journey with me

Had one final stop at Hanna Park in Jacksonville to ensure I had Tara all settled in before heading west. I think she approves of the camping lifestyle.

Next camp stop with the new pup was Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, FL. Sadly, Florida does not allow dogs on the beaches so we had to admire the ocean from afar. But still a beautiful campground with plenty of nice trails nearby.

Started 2026 with a new dog (Tara) rescued from the Jacksonville animal control shelter on New Year's Day. Our first trip was a short overnight at Olive Land Farms. She did great, and I think the day wore her out!

Lots of great family time over the holidays including a visit to the Jacksonville Zoo for the zoo lights (Christmas 2025 and now ready to start sharing 2026 - I will catch up eventually!)

Took the RV in for maintenance and then headed to Cabo San Lucas with my sister for my 60th birthday.

My sister was able to come and hang with me on one of my trips out to the beach last fall. Her dog Toby definitely enjoyed it too. Hoping we'll be able to do it again this year.

Closed out my official 2025 road trip back at Hanna Park after a visit with family. This park was my first official campsite, and I just love it. I spent most of October and November moving between driveway surfing with family and hanging by the beach at Hanna.

My last stop before getting back to Florida to see family in 2025 was at Santee State Park in Santee, SC. I got a bit of a beach teaser with the views of Lake Marion. And just another lovely state park.
